Bakkie donated by Sešego Cares

Sešego Cares has very kindly donated a fantastic bakkie to Ubumbano School. The bakkie will enable the school to collect donations from local shops and companies for the soup kitchen on which so many are dependant. Read more

Beadwork

Fred-Footwear is using the skills of the beadwork ladies to decorate their sandals and as we are well into summer it is a busy time of year for them. The passing tourist trade has also increased which allows all the crafts to be displayed to a wider audience.

Community projects

The community projects are continuing to be successful! An industrial sewing machine has proved to be a vital tool in assisting with the sewing lessons. Some of the parents are managing to do sewing alterations and sew small items, which has helped them to generate a small income.
